what timezone do I live in?

I live in the boston area, in Massachusetts. Ive been confused as to what timezone I live in for awhile. A website has asked me what timezone I live in for verification. Can you please answer my question? Thats what this site is for, right?

Boston is currently in GMT-4 since Daylight Saving Time. During Standard Time the time is GMT-5. This means it is in Eastern Time Zone.

As you go to the west, timezones broaden (add an hour). For that reason, if it is 11:00 a.M within the Pacific Time Zone, and also you cross over three timezones(Mountain average, primary general, jap regular) it is three hours later in Toronto, Ontario. Because of this it would be 2:00 p.M in Ontario (eastern average Timezone). I hope this helped :). This used to be on my examination ;).
