Question:
Am I living in fascist America?

I feel like there's so much you can't say and can't do now. There's a lot of double-speak. Anything realist is called 'racist.' Anything masculine is called 'bullying.' Anything heterosexual is called 'homophobic.' You can make books mocking white culture 'Stuff white people like,' but dare you say anything about black people. To be fair, I don't think we live in an extreme form of fascism, but it seems like slowly and slowly this country is starting to feel like the book 1984 and what you can and can't say is being controlled by pc people who think everything has to be pro-gay, pro-black, pro-woman. How would I know if I'm living under fascism in America?

I think you have to respect all the repression the groups you mentioned have suffered- things will level out after a long time.

I think if you only find positives in people that are different then you - you will not be called those things!

Many people( not saying you ) want to just criticize and condemn others who are different and that is a problem!

Poke around on the Net for Umberto Eco's essay "Eternal Fascism" for a good discussion of what Fascism is and is not. Being polite to women, black americans, gay men, is not fascism, as usually defined.

The USA is a new type of Fascist country. The people are brainwashed with lies about peace and democracy, while the US drags planet Earth into a world war and strips her citizens of their Rights, wages and living standards! Do you know about the deathcamps?

Since you're a conservative, you're the cause of it.
