Yes - I find the whole process fascinating. I also believe that voting is an informed decision making process, so I keep up with local, state and national issues so I can make an informed decision. How can a person complain about the state of things in their city, state and country if they are not well informed as to what is going on AND they don't vote! If you don't exercise your right to vote, you shouldn't complain about the state of things.

being aware of and involved in our government is a vital part of the vision our founding fathers had for the success of our Country. The framers of our Constitution were brilliant, and with much foresight did include language that has enabled our Constiitution to remain timely and also provide us our civil rights, which allow us to govern ourselves to a certain degree. Men and women have fought wars to uphold these valuable rights, we owe it to them, ourselves and our children to keep our rights as Americans, as well as our way of life, intact. I think that political participation and voting are priveledges and also our duty!

Politics are everywhere. People concern themselves unconciously at the very least.

Yes. A free society relies upon citizens who get involved in political issues.
